You go to Google, search your topic and surprise, surprise. Wikipedia appears at the top. You instantly dismiss the website and look for another. Before you know it, you're paper is due - its blank!
Many people believe that Wikipedia is unreliable because it is a community driven wiki. However, this works to their advantage. Pages are constantly checked, edited and improved by the 2000+ approved moderators.
All pages are referenced and most of the editors on Wikipedia have degrees or specialise on certain topic.
So next time you write a report, we may see Wikipedia referenced in the bibliography...
