Media on demand has become the new way to watch TV Series, Movies and other digital content. You probably already stream media on-demand (Apple TV, TBox etc...)
To keep up with this demand, YouTube has just recently rolled out their new device interface (Tablet/Smartphone/TV) service - YouTube Leanback.
Sure it's a great idea, surf YouTube on your tablet or phone and then watch it on your TV, whilst being able to search for more videos or comment on the current one. However, there's one major unforgivable letdown - the video quality. If you are watching a video on your phone tablet or TV using YouTube's apps - you can not change your quality from HD. This normally means long waiting times or awkward pauses when watching videos.
The only way to watch a SD video is to go to the actual YouTube website and change the quality.
Until this issue has been addressed, it's hard to recommend YouTube Leanback.
